What is the Investment Portfolio?
The Investment Portfolio is an interactive tool that summarizes all of your investments in the platform, and even lets you visualize your exit scenarios.
Investments
For all of the companies on the platform in which you have invested, the Investment Portfolio screen lists the total amount you have invested with an estimated portfolio value, charts of your investments and estimated value, and a table detailing all of your investments. You can search for individual companies or can filter by fund or label.
Each investment is listed individually with the following information:
- Company Name (clicking the name will bring you to that company's workspace view)
- Investment amount
- Investor/fund
- Ownership (date, stock class, and number of shares)
- Realized value
- Unrealized value
Exit Projections
The exit scenarios allow you to set expectations of a company's likely exit. The bar charts show the value of your investments based on the company's current valuation and price per share, and two customizable scenarios based on your estimates. The investment amount is included for easy comparison. The system will calculate your estimated return and return ratio for each scenario.
Exit Scenarios A and B can be changed by clicking on the Edit icon. A new window will open and allow you to enter a predicted Exit Amount, Exit Date, and other relevant information. If no estimate is entered, the current valuation will be used to calculate your investment return.
Note: In order for this tool to be available to you, you must have more than one investment with companies on the platform.
