Introduction
This article explains how to upload an existing Warrant to your account. This workflow will move the documents to the appropriate folders in the Data Room and will add the Warrant to your cap table. See this article for instructions on how to exercise a Warrant.
At this time, the workflow does not generate warrant documents.
Step-by-step Instructions
- From the Company Workspace, go to Start New Workflow > Equity > Warrant (upload only).
- Enter the name of the warrant holder.
- Click Document Options to upload the warrant document or to select the document from your Data Room.
- Enter the terms of the warrant and click Continue.
- Click Document Options to select or upload the Board Approval and indicate the type of approval.
- If applicable, upload the Stockholder Approval. If this approval was waived, you can select Waive Document to continue.
- At the Checkpoint, review the documents and make any changes as needed. When ready to proceed, click Continue.
- If the warrant was issued to a new user in your account, you will be prompted to invite the new user. Otherwise, the warrant will be added to your cap table and is available in the Data Room.
