Introduction
This article explains how to upload a Warrant to your account, so it appears on your cap table and in your Data Room. You'll find this workflow under the Equity section of the Start New Workflow page.
At this time, the workflow does not generate warrant documents.
- From the Company Workspace, go to Start New Workflow > Equity > Warrant (upload only).
- Enter the name of the warrant holder.
- Click Document Options to upload the warrant document, or select the document from your Data Room.
- Enter the terms of the warrant. If you are unsure where to find this information in your warrant document, your attorney can provide guidance.
- Click Continue.
- Click Document Options to select or upload the Board Approval and indicate the type of approval.
- If applicable, upload the Stockholder Approval. If this approval was waived, you can select Waive Document to continue.
- At the Checkpoint, review the documents and make any changes as needed. When ready to proceed, click Continue.
- If the warrant was issued to a new user in your account, you will be prompted to invite the new user. Otherwise, the warrant will be added to your cap table and is available in the Data Room.
